One thing I’ve learned in life is that giving back to others is one of the most rewarding things you can do. I didn’t have much growing up so I know how important giving back is and I always want to try and find ways to help those in need.

About three years ago, BEP partnered up with the Robin Hood Foundation – the largest poverty-fighting organization in NYC – to raise money and awareness for the unfortunate disadvantages of the underserved in NYC. Together, we threw a concert in Central Park called Concert 4 NYC. It was a lot of fun. I got to help those in need plus goof around, act a fool, and do what I love with those that I love. That’s the dream man. For a minute there, I did get a little skeptical about this concert because Mother Nature decided that it should rain on the original day of our performance. But we weren’t gonna let her stop us from doing what we do and we ended up performing a couple months later in September, in front of 60,000 packed-in fans on the Great Lawn in Central Park. We ended up raising $4 million just from VIP tix and corporate donations. $4 MILLION!!! LOVE IT!!!

BEP has brought me on crazy tours and has given me experiences I’ve never dreamed of. But what’s even better… I get to do it with great friends and family and, from time to time, I get to do it for a good cause. Never a dull moment.

If you can, please take a moment to donate to the Robin Hood Foundation. It’d be much appreciated.
